Nutrition Training and Weight Control in Ballantyne, Charlotte, NC

 

Nutrition training is a key element of success regardless of what your fitness goals and aspirations may be. In order to reap the benefits of training you must properly supply your body with the nutrition and food it needs or you will never see the results you’re looking for, whether it’s nutrition training, weight control or muscle gain.

I am referred to in this industry as a Fitness Professional. I have been through nutrition related training but I am definitely not a Nutrition Professional. If you are seeking a daily nutrition log that breaks down what to eat at each meal, I cannot provide that for you. As a matter of fact, it is illegal for me to do so. If I were to write you out a detailed diet, that would not be much different than if I were to prescribe you medication for any illness you may have. For this, I would refer you to a Registered Dietician.

I can provide you with some important guidelines that will get you on the right track. I like for my clients to keep a food log for a few days and share it with me. We will go over this together and I will make a few recommendations if necessary. Small changes and sacrifices in your diet can have a long lasting impact. Below is a little more detail on what I can offer.

What I can do:

What I cannot do:

  • Create a written meal plan
  • Recommend dietary supplements (w/ few exceptions…Multivitamin, Whey Protein, etc…)
