Significant Equipment and Facility Upgrades for 2019!

Posted by:

All of the equipment purchased on Black Friday has finally been delivered, put together, and placed into action at my Ballantyne Personal Training Studio. Last week I had a handyman come in to put the final pieces together.

Typically on Black Friday I make substantial additions to the gym. This is now my 7th year at the Ballantyne location in Charlotte NC and each year I’ve reinvested by upgrading “lesser” gear or bringing in brand new fresh fitness equipment to ...

Personal Training Packages Updated for 2019

Posted by:

I have updated the Personal Training Rates page on the website for 2019.

The “4 Sessions Per Week (16 per month)” option has been discontinued, it simply doesn’t provide enough time/opportunity to get makeups in within a billing cycle. I discontinued the “5 Sessions Per Week” option a few years ago. Currently 100% of the clients are on 1-3x per week packages so it seemed like the appropriate ...

Website Is Being Updated, Excuse The Mess!

Posted by:

I’m making quite a number of changes to the website currently, so there may be a few cosmetic blemishes throughout the site while it’s under construction.

I’ve upgraded the security of the site. I’ve started transitioning the primary color scheme to match what I’ve been using at the studio, in mailing lists, on social media, in excel files, etc…To create more uniformity.

I will attempt to condense some of the content of the site to make viewing a bit more efficient. I ...

NEW PAGE | You Ask, I Answer | FAQ

Posted by:

I’ve opened a new section to the website called “You Ask, I Answer“, it’s simply a FAQ page. I will start adding to this page weekly or bi weekly with questions that I receive from emails and/or social media accounts. For the most part will stick to training, nutrition, and recovery.

How often should I work out?

It really depends on an infinite ...

A Few Referral Updates | RP Diet | MyProtein.com

Posted by:

Just a few site updates I made. I now have a direct referral link to MyProtein.com in the menu’s throughout the site. I get my whey and casein protein through them. By following that link they’ll give you 30% off your first order of $35. You can also use the code “TAYLOR-RT8“.

MyProtein is significantly cheaper than other places and they’re ranked very high on labdoor.com which is an independent supplement testing site. You can also buy 10lb bags ...

A few site & services updates and RP diet templates

Posted by:

I made a few cosmetic site changes this morning here and there, updated a couple of photos. The gym is constantly changing as I’m often acquiring new equipment. By the time I post new pictures I’ve already added a piece or rearranged a few others!

As Black Friday draws near I’ve been on the lookout for new gear and already brought in a large deadlift jack, a more durable triceps attachment for the cable machine and plan to pickup a hip ...

Scientific Studies – GMOs affects on human health

Posted by:

As an additional service I’m working on for existing clients along with the upcoming online training clients (when it’s released) I will be providing a “Scientific Studies” section in DropBox…

Just some tidbits below on GMO’s from the “Scientific Studies” section I’m working on in DropBox. My attempt will be to keep everything relative to human health, performance, nutrient levels, etc…Basically how it would relate to dieting and/or exercise. My intent is to keep the information restricted to just whats relative ...

Male Strength Templates Almost Done (Online Personal Training)

Posted by:

Three months worth of workout programming towards the online personal training men’s strength templates have now been finished. One more months worth then on to the females.

The original online personal training templates will be designed for male/female strength, male/female fat loss, and a more generic varied template simply geared towards adherence. Over time I’ll probably add some more options but to get things going those will be the 5 groups targeted.

The app will also have a number of features. All ...

Why Taylor Carpenter Personal Training? Plus NEW Testimonials

Posted by:

It’s been a while since I’ve updated the main page regarding changes at the studio and with the business. The updates reflect the more current state of things, address improvements, etc.

There have been 8 new Testimonials added and hopefully additional positive notes will be added from current clients in the near future as well. I’ve added a randomized selection of some quotes on the main home page as well.

Below is a long updated list of why Taylor Carpenter ...

Studio Photo Gallery Updated Sept 2016

Posted by:

I have now uploaded a new photo gallery to the Studio Photo Gallery section. All pictures done by long term client Andres Godoy.

I’m constantly upgrading the facility so the images tend to quickly go out of date. Even since these pictures have been taken I’ve done a little re-arranging and added a high quality punching bag with stand.

A couple barbells have also been added.

New images were long overdue so very happy to have a more current representation of ...
