Simply put, you’re more likely to succeed if you take the time to plan ahead. Below are items that I use on a daily basis that allow me to spend my time more efficiently, keep me constantly prepared, and leaves my ability to adhere to my diet pretty seamless. What makes dieting fairly easy for me is I’m always prepared, food is always cooked and ready in the fridge at all times, I always have apples, bread, protein powder, etc. ...

The Top Secret To Curb Your Cravings!

Posted by:

The title sounds like a lie and a scam, the secret to stopping your cravings. I run into these advertisements on a regular basis by running a personal training studio. It’s unfortunate for most of us but the real solution is hard work, often times restriction and a realignment of our priorities. Nothing worth having is ...

New USDA Dietary Guidelines

Posted by:

For 2017 the United States Depepartment of Agriculture released some new dietary guidelines. It notably eased it’s hard restrictions towards cholesterol and sodium while giving the OK for a cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning.

The Washington Post had an excellent article on all of the details so I don’t want to copy and rehash what they’ve already said.

Mainly, I wanted to share the two infographics below as I thought they were a great visualization for how we should ...

Posted by:

When people have been reducing their restaurant trips with more clean home made food choices I’ve had more people lately struggle with getting all their calories in especially the Renaissance Periodization template clients. At the end of the day your calories and macronutrient numbers are what matter. Cleaner diets end up providing a lot more volume of food to consume.

If you eat out a lot you’re more than likely getting a high amount of calories in a low volume amount ...

RESULTS

This past Sunday I finished my 2nd 3 month dieting cut with the Renaissance Periodization auto templates (if you don’t know RP, just ask).
