I’ve replaced the Omron Body Fat Monitor at Taylor Carpenter’s Personal Training Studio in Ballantyne. This is a relatively inexpensive tool that you could use yourself to track the progress in your muscle gain and fat loss goals. Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be running through everyone and getting some updates. If at any point you’re just curious and would like to use it, just ask before your session and I’ll be sure to have it setup for you.
At the studio, I typically will do body fat testing, circumference measurements, and scale weight to monitor progress. In my experience I believe before/after pictures, the way your clothes fit (or don’t fit) and the occasional comments throughout your everyday life are the best indicators of progress.
In any scenario where you would want to take measurements of any kind make every attempt to accurately replicate the settings of your previous test. I will make a post later this week with my tips to do just that.Share
