Cardio & Core Workout

I went through this workout today at the gym. I’ve been doing an upper body/lower body undulating periodization routine but wanted to give my body a little break from heavy weights and run through a heart pumping routine for today.

I did the following 3 times all the way through, with a 1 minute break each time after running through the whole cycle. Except for maybe the pullups and jungle gym exercise, most of you should be able to do this at home, heavy weights are not important you’re simply trying to get through at a very brisk pace.

overhead squat x10
jump rope x100
trunk rotation w/ cable x10 per side
jumping pullup (slow on the way down) x10
reverse crunch x10
kb swings x20
jungle gym rollout & fly x10
burpees x10

Adjust exercises, weights and pace to challenge your abilities.
