As of June 2, 2011 the United States Department of Agriculture replaced the long standing MyPyramid nutrition guide with the new MyPlate guide. Research is constantly being done on both nutrition and exercise so its about time they finally updated this. It is not an individualized nutrition guideline but I believe it provides a good foundation of information to go by.
